Resolved Question: I keep getting a black screen when i start oblivion?

ok so i run oblivion i get past the bethseda intro then i get a black screen and it stays there or quite rarely i get to the loading screen and it stops at 99% and doesnt move anymore.
I have played oblivion on this computer before but this time its not working.
