I was using the resolution of 1440 x 900. But today when I started computer I found the settings gets changed even I reinstalled the graphics driver but can’t get the same resolution back? Can anyone tell me what is the reason behind it?

Thanks.
Rahul.
The problem is not only with the motherboard having ATI video adapter but also with the motherboard having Intel graphics adapter.

Resolved Question: I changed the monitor of my computer and when used back the other monitor the screen reso. of the monitor didn?

I needed to change the monitor of my computer for a project for only 30 min. when I changed the monitor couldn’t set my screen resolution. It doesn’t appear in the setting tab of the Display properties.

The screen resolution of the first monitor is 1366 x 768

The screen resolution of the second monitor is. 1440 x 900

I tryed to restore to the day before I changed the monitor. And I reinstalled the drivers of my monitor.

Wath do I need to do? I realy need to set back the resolution of my monitor.

HDTV Pinball Machine Is Almost as Good as the Real Thing

Pinball machines are more or less a lost art, but one enthusiast really wants to bring them along for this whole “21st century” thing. Hence, the HDTV pinball machine.

Constructed from one large HDTV and a smaller LCD monitor, this machine, called HyperPin, makes for a surprisingly convincing pinball experience. The trick is in the software, Future Pinball. It’s a real-time 3D pinball simulator for the PC, with which enthusiasts can recreate and play on their favorite tables in a simulated arcade. Builder BadBoybill (indeed!) took this all a step further, adapting the app to display on two screens, giving the appearance of an actual table. Bumping, shaking and drink-resting are not recommended. [HyperPin via Digg]

Sony TV Remote Will Steal Your Identity to Order Spiderman 3

Sony’s latest Japan-exclusive Bravia W5 and F5 are some fancy LCDs, refreshing at 240Hz and featuring deep contrast ratios. But the neatest thing about these TVs is surely their credit card-reading remote control.

By simply pressing your card to the remote, you can make payment for VOD movies without the hassle of navigating an onscreen QWERTY.

How is all of this consumer magic possible? The remote contains an RFID reader, compatible with Japan’s popular Edy cards—cards that are, incidentally, powered by Sony’s FeliCa technology.

So it all comes full circle. You buy a Sony product to use your Sony card to buy Sony media that’s easily purchased with Sony cards on Sony products. Genius. [Akihabara News]
